Haiti Emergency Relief
We are all horrified by the disastrous earthquake in Haiti which has claimed so many lives, and which has caused so much suffering and damage. Many countries, including the United States and Israel, have been sending relief supplies, medical teams, disaster relief experts.
Each of us can provide assistance to the victims of the earthquake. A number of Jewish organizations have set up Haiti Emergency Funds. In the New York City area, you may contribute by going to ujafedny.org, or by calling 212 836 1486. Institute members and friends in other geographic areas should contact their local UJA-Federation offices. Contributions may also be sent through the American Jewish World Service (ajws.org).
