The Complexity and Feasibility of Fostering Midot and Derekh Erets in our Children

Rabbi Fried is Associate Professor of Psychology and Education at Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University. He maintains a private practice in Psychology, evaluating children who have learning or behavioral problems in school, and guiding their parents and teachers in ways of working with them. For the past 30 years, Rabbi Fried has held various positions in the field of Jewish Education, and is best known for his pioneering work in Jewish Special Education. This article appears in issue 4 of Conversations, the journal of the Institute for Jewish Ideas and Ideals.
