A conference in Jerusalem, June 29

Shani Rosenbaum,  a member of the University Network, is interning this summer for Bema'aglei Tzedek, a social justice organization in Israel. Every 17 Tammuz, Bema'aglei Tzedek runs a conference, and I think the members of the University Network will find this of interest. Here is the information, and please feel free to register if you'll be in Israel at that time.
This year on the 17th of Tammuz fast, spend your day engaged in heshbon ha-nefesh by attending Bema’aglei Tzedek, Bat Ami, and Gvanim’s conference on integrating youth with disabilities into society at large and national service in particular. The conference will include small-group learning sessions taught jointly by youth with and without disabilities and interactive presentations by practitioners, thought leaders, and rabbis. Speakers will include: MK Zevulun Orlev, Rabbi Dr. Benny Lau, Yoav Kraim, Yaffa Gisser, and Rabbi Yuval Cherlow. The conference will take place from 16:00 to 20:00 on June 29 at the International Convention Center in Binyanei HaUma, Jerusalem; it will be conducted in Hebrew and all activities will be handicap accessible.
