Here are some upcoming summer classes I will be giving that are open to the public:

On Monday evenings, July 10, 17, 24 7:30-8:30 pm, I will give a three-part series on “Biblical Scandals: Using the Stories of Dinah, David and Bat Sheva, and Achav to Understand Traditional Approaches to Morally Challenging Behavior in Tanach.”

On Wednesday mornings, July 12, 19, 26 10:15-11:30 am, I will give a three-part series on Parashat HaShavua.

It is with Lamdeinu Teaneck, located at Congregation Beth Aaron, 950 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck, NJ. To register, go to www.lamdeinu.org.

 

On Wednesday evenings, July 12, 19, 26 7:30-8:30 pm, I will give a three-part series on “Challenge and Opportunity: The Interface of Traditional and Academic Bible Study.”

It will be held at the Young Israel of Fort Lee (New Jersey), 1610 Parker Avenue.

The class is free and open to the public.
